Peer Support Groups

We understand that not everyone wants to take part in a creative activity or social evening to be able to access peer support.  Sometimes people just want a space to talk - so that's what we offer in these sessions.  We have dedicated male and female peer support groups; led by facilitators who are Autistic, have ADHD or both.

Our Women's group is facilitated by Lissa - our in house Neuro-affirming Psychotherapist.  Our dedicated Men's group is facilitated by Tom - a local Spoken Word Artist and Poet, who specialises in men's emotional wellbeing.

Alongside these adult sessions, we also provide a space for Neurodivergent Teenagers to access on a monthly basis.  Our Teen group is facilitated by Janine who is a Neurodivergent Community and Youth Worker who specialises in using creativity as a tool to improve wellbeing.

With that said, we don't claim to have all the answers, but we firmly believe that everyone involved in the delivery of our projects has real lived-experience.  We understand the challenges Neurodivergent people may face, and we draw upon our shared experience to allow space for people to be their authentic, unmasked selves.
