Early 20th Century Oriental Melon Stool

This is truly a statement piece!  
 
Originally made using Rosewood, this early 20th Century Melon Stool is a fine example of Chinese craftmanship.
 
This antique item could be used as an ornamental feature, a side table or even a plant stand; the possibilities are endless.  
 
This piece has been hand painted using Fusion Mineral Paint with a clear satin varnish for added durability.
 
The stool is solid in construction and is heavy for its size, however, due to its vintage nature it may show some very minimal signs of age.  Great care and attention have been taken to refinish this piece to high standard.  
 
Colours used:  Coal Black, Little Lamb, Vintage Metallic Gold.
